CoPiloted launches to bring hedge fund techniques to your 401(k)

Biz Journal – Boston startup CoPiloted has launched a new service which aims to provide sophisticated investing advice — the sort typically reserved for the most wealthy — to people of more average means that are saving for their retirements.

Using technology and a large body of research in investment management, the startup is employing techniques typically used by hedge funds in providing its free service to individuals, said CoPiloted CEO and co-founder Jeremy De Bonet.
