Ex-Farallon Capital Manager Said to Plan Third Asia PE Fund
Wednesday, August 11, 2010 : PermalinkBloomberg – Quvat Management Pte, run by a former executive of Farallon Capital Management LLC’s Indonesian affiliate, is raising its third private-equity fund focusing on Southeast Asia, said three people with knowledge of the matter.
The Singapore-based firm, led by Tom Lembong, plans to raise about $350 million for Quvat Capital Partners III, which will invest mainly in Indonesia, Southeast Asia’s largest economy, the people said, asking not to be identified because the information is private. Lembong, a founding partner of Quvat, declined to comment.
