Former Mellon Chiefs Said to Launch Fund Business
Tuesday, July 27, 2010 : PermalinkNYT . Two former heads of one of Bank of New York Mellon’s fund of hedge funds units are planning to hang their own shingle, Financial News reported.
Derek Stewart and Scott MacDonald, who previously ran BNY Mellon’s Mellon Global Alternative Investments, have formed Carduus Capital and plan to raise money for a fund of funds later this year, the publication said, citing a person familiar with the situation.
