Managed Futures Funds: The Best and Worst of May

(Daily Alts) Managed Futures Funds The Best and Worst of MayManaged futures mutual funds and ETFs posted another month of losses in May, falling by an average of 0.87% on the heels of April’s 1.83% losses. May’s losses compare to a much worse loss of 3.02% for the Credit Suisse Managed Futures Liquid Index. Of the sixty funds in the category, which returned an average of -1.45% in the first five months of 2016 versus gains for the Index of 2.22%, only seventeen funds posted gains in May.
