IBT – SandRidge Energy Inc. (NYSE:SD) founder and CEO Tom Ward has been fired from the firm after accusations from activist investors that he put his own interests higher than the company’s, reports Reuters.
Ward, who was dismissed Wednesday, will be replaced by former chief financial officer and current SandRidge President James Bennett.
