State releases details of hedge fund investments
Tuesday, June 8, 2010 : PermalinkAP – State investment managers are making partially good on a pledge to make public details of their almost $3 billion in hedge funds.
The Juneau Empire, which filed a public records request for the information, says the disclosure includes hundreds of millions of dollars invested in offshore funds, mostly in tax havens such as the Cayman Islands. It didn’t, however, include how much money was made or lost.
