Bridgewater, J.P. Morgan top list of 100 largest hedge funds

MarketWatch – Investors prefer smaller, more nimble hedge funds, but that hasn’t stopped them from pouring money into the biggest hedge funds in the world, according to Institutional Investor.

So far this year, the world’s 100 largest hedge funds managed $1.51 trillion in total, which is up 14% from early 2013, when they managed $1.33 trillion. Over the past two years, assets of the top 100 hedge funds have surged nearly 25%.
