LoHud (NY) – James Nicholson, a former Rocklander convicted of stealing millions of dollars from 400-plus hedge fund investors, takes the first step toward prison today at a pre-sentencing hearing in U.S. District Court.
During the hearing, a prelude to Nicholson’s June 30 sentencing, federal prosecutors and Nicholson’s lawyer will discuss with the judge their estimated amount of victim losses and forfeiture money.
