(Opalesque) 69 hedge funds were launched in Q1 2019, the majority (84%) of which were single-manager funds, reports research house Preqin in its Q1 update. Furthermore, the Preqin All-Strategies Hedge Fund benchmark returned +5.40% for the quarter.
