(Harvest) When bitcoin hit its high in December 2017, its total market cap was approximately $420 billion. By contrast when the five stocks in the FAANG plus MSFT hit their highs back in September/October 2018, their combined market cap was closing in on $5 trillion. To put that number in perspective, it was roughly 17-18 percent of the market cap of the entire U.S. stock market.
