Yale University Endowment Officials Make the Case for Active Management Fees

(InvestHedge) Yale University endowment officials have heard the active management fee critics out there, Warren Buffett notably among them, but Yale isn’t going to change what’s been working for it and its $25.4 billion endowment fund. Arguably the most successful large school endowment, Yale officials in their most recent annual report devoted two special articles to active management, alternative investments and the justification for management and performance fees.
