York Capital Seeks $500M for European Distressed Fund

Dow Jones Bankruptcy News – York Capital Management , a $14.6 billion investment firm known for managing hedge funds, is seeking $500 million for investing in European distressed credit assets to capitalize on forced asset sales there.

The York European Distressed Credit Fund has a private equity-fund structure, with a five-year fund life, including two years for investments, according to information sent to potential investors.
