Hedge fund managers challenged to provide investor solutions, not products

Risk.Net – Hedge funds are under pressure to differentiate and explain their worth concludes a survey by SEI. Managers need to work with investors to find portfolio solutions rather than offer products.

Investors have changed the way they use hedge funds in their portfolios. Not only are institutional investors evaluating hedge funds differently, they are looking to managers to provide investment solutions rather than just a performance bounce to overall portfolio returns.
