Wall Street Rocks Launches 2013 Battle of the Bands Talent Search

Wall Street Rocks co-founders Leslie Kirby, Peter Carrara, James Macedonioand George Chrisafis announced they are seeking musicians to audition for the non-profit’s 2013 Battle of the Bands. Groups with at least two members working in the financial community are invited to submit their biographies and music to info@wallstreetrocks.org by May 15th for a chance to compete at one of Manhattan’s top music venues this spring. Fifteen bands will be provided with the opportunity to take the stage, help raise much-needed funds for charity and potentially advance and perform throughout the year.

Wall Street Rocks was formed two years ago with the sole mission to raise money for veterans and first responders charities including Wounded Warrior Project and ReserveAid, by rocking out. The non profit hosts a series of musical competitions throughout the year, leading up to a final round in December at Irving Plaza where the last-standing acts will open for a nationally recognized rock act.
