Delegates comprising more than 200 institutional investors, funds of hedge funds, high net worth individuals – and a panel of seed investors – will vote for the winning three minute pitch.

The shortlisted funds include Saemor Capital’s ‘Saemor Europe Alpha Fund’, ‘Blenheim DDA’ of Blenheim Fund Management, ‘Aequam Diversified’ of Aequam Capital Management, ‘Citrine Capital’ of Citrine Capital Management, ‘Laffitte Index Arbitrage’ of Laffitte Capital Management and Eyck Capital Management’s ‘Eyck European Tactical Distressed / Opportunities Fund’.

“We’ve again received a tremendous response from a wide spectrum of funds to participate in this year’s competition and the opportunity to pitch to an exceptional cross section of leading alternative investors,” said Gildas Le Treut, Global Head of Prime Clearing at ABN AMRO Clearing.

“Shortlisted funds will also gain unique access to the insights of our panel of seed investors and what seeders are currently looking for in their potential investments,” said Marc de Kloe, Head of Alternatives & Funds at ABN AMRO Private Banking.

The AIF has become the leading alternative investment event in the Netherlands and will again be held at ABN AMRO’s head office at Gustav Mahlerlaan on the 12th of Febuary. This year’s keynote speaker is Stuart Fiertz, Co-Founder, President and Director of Research at Cheyne Capital Management.
