Rosen is said to get $300 million to start hedge fund Reef Road

CTPost – Eric Rosen, a credit trader at JPMorgan Chase for 13 years, received a $300 million seed investment from Greenwich-based Paloma Partners for a hedge fund he’s starting, according to two people with knowledge of the firm.

Rosen, who most recently was co-head of the fixed-income, currencies and commodities business for the Americas at UBS, plans to start his New York-based Reef Road Capital Management in the second quarter, said the people, who asked not to be named because the fund is private.
