Hedge fund trustee seeks money back

Monsters and Critics.com – A New York lawsuit is seeking $237,582 from actor John Cusack because he was allegedly overpaid for his investment in Lipper Convertibles.

A separate lawsuit dealing with the same case was also filed against former Sony Music head Tommy Mottola, seeking $756,561, the New York Post reported Saturday.

Former New York Mayor Ed Koch had a similar suit filed against him earlier this month as well.

None of the investors are accused of any wrongdoing in the hedge fund scandal. The court-appointed trustee said he was merely trying to get all the overpayments returned ‘so all the investors will stand in the same footing.’
