Baer platform to stir up funds secondary markets

Reuters – Swiss private bank Julius Baer  is launching a new investment trading platform for unlisted funds that offers increased price transparency and could make it cheaper to buy or sell these products.

Oliver Heusser, specialist in funds secondary market making at Baer, said the platform, which makes markets in around 300 unlisted funds and was launched on Monday, could grow rapidly as investors became aware of its advantages.
