ALTIN Reports Strong Start for Funds of Hedge Funds in 2010

ALTIN, the $280 million fund of hedge funds listed on the London and Swiss stock exchanges recorded an investment performance of +13.57% in 2009, outperforming the HFRI FoF Index, which recorded +11.55%, and has had a strong start to the year, up +3.75% YTD to 26 April 2010.

The discount of the share price to its NAV per share was reduced to 19.9% at the end of 2009, down from 33% at the end of 2008, when investors massively and indiscriminately sold off all assets considered to be risk-prone.

ALTIN has one of the world’s longest track records as an exchange-listed fund of hedge funds. It listed on the Swiss Stock Exchange in 1996 and on the London Stock Exchange in 2001.
