Note that although the income limits on one&#039;s ability to make a Roth IRA contribution remain intact for 2010, the lifting of the $100,000 conversion limit effectively eliminates the income limits on making a contribution.  Why?  Because anyone, regardless of income, can make non-deductible contributions to a Traditional IRA.  Once the $100,000 limit disappears, they can then convert the Traditional IRA to a Roth IRA, and...  Presto!  Someone with a million dollar income can make a Roth IRA contribution.</description>
